What is your name, weight division, and where are you from?
I’m Cokorda Istri Agung Sanistyarani, or usually called “Choki”, competing in -55 kg female division, proudly from Bali, Indonesia.

How many SEA Games have you competed in and what is your record?
This is going to be my sixth SEA Games. Previously I’ve earned multiple medals, including GOLD, and consistently reached the podium in every appearance.

What’s the proudest moment from previous games?
My proudest moment was the first time I got on the podium, knowing that my hard work, discipline, and the trust of my coaches and teammates has paid off. It was a beautiful moment.

Describe your fighting style in one word?
PRECISE!!

Your favourite technique?
Oi-Tsuki/Gyaku-tsuki Jodan. Fast, precise, simple, straight to the point.

Who will be your toughest opponent at these years SEA games do you think?
Honestly, everyone!! At this level, nobody is easy. I respect them all. But if I had to name one toughest rival, I would say Vietnam. But I focus on myself and my own performance!

Pre-fight ritual — what MUST you do before stepping on the tatami?
My ritual before competition is SELF-TALK! I take a moment to take a deep breath, lock in, and remind myself to stay focused, relaxed, enjoy the fight and stay dangerous!

Do you still get nervous?
Yes, of course!! I think it’s normal. Being nervous remind me that I care, that this matters. And it’s helps me to stay focus.

One thing people don’t know about you?
Many people see me as serious person. But I’m actually very caring toward the people around me, especially my teammates.
