Have you participated in PON before and how was the result?
Yes, my past achievements include winning Bronze and a Gold in 2021.
How have you been preparing for PON? Have you made any specific changes to your training regimen leading up to this event?
I’m currently training with the National Team, which has introduced new strategies and techniques into my regimen.
How do you balance physical training with mental preparation?
I find that consistent training helps me adjust to the competition environment, keeping my mind focused and prepared.
How do you stay focused and calm under pressure?
I maintain my focus by controlling my emotions, staying composed, and not allowing myself to panic.
What are your goals for this championship, both short-term and long-term?
My short-term goal is to become the national champion in PON 2024 and long-term, I want to secure a permanent spot on the national team.
Who are your most dangerous possible opponents in your weight category?
Myself. I believe that overcoming my own limitation and self-doubt is the biggest challenge.
What has been your biggest challenge in preparing for this event?
The intensity of training has been challenging, especially as I get older. However, I am committed to giving my best in every session.
What is the most valuable lesson you’ve learned from past competitions?
Always be prepared and receptive to criticism and feedback. They are essential for growth and improvement.
How do you stay motivated during tough times in your training?
Prayer provides me with comfort and motivation during difficult times.
How important is your support system (coaches, family, friends) in your preparation?
Extremely important. My husband, parents, and coach are my greatest supporters and have been fundamental to my preparation.
How do you maintain a balance between training and your personal life?
I stay on track by following my training schedule to ensure I allocate my time for my family.
